About Me
Lani Harms is an actor, writer and director based in Los Angeles, CA. She was a house performer, writer and director at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NY, and her short “Text Me” was an official selection of the Women in Comedy Festival 2020, which she produced with her video sketch team, Shiners Comedy. After moving to Los Angeles in 2022, she was selected for the Coverfly Best Unrepresented Writers List and has since performed at the Elysian Theater, Public Displays of Altadena, and UCB Franklin. She is also co-host of the leading Mary-Kate and Ashley podcast, They Thought I Was You, and has interviewed various professionals who worked with the Olsen twins including Jane Sibbett and Ben Easter.
You can hear her voice in the sketch comedy podcast, These Were Humans, which was an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival 2023, and see her in various video sketches for Scary Mommy and The Dad, in national commercials for Nerf, and killing her husband on Discovery ID.
She planned her wedding around the Minnesota State Fair and is very proud of it.
